Dynex checkball piston pumps are available for use with various water-based fluids including water glycol. The pumps operate at maximum pressures from 10 000 psi (700 bar) to 15 000 psi (1040 bar). These pumps are assembled with corrosion resistant parts, are treated for extra protection, ready for customer application of the final protective coating. In the checkball design, internal bearing lubrication is provided by the pumped fluid. This prevents cross-contamination which may occur in other pump designs requiring a secondary fluid for lubrication. It also eliminates the cost of a lubrication circuit or regular maintenance of a lubricating oil. Dynex pumps are ideal for wellhead safety control systems, subsea applications, industrial equipment including hydroform presses, and other applications requiring fire-resistant and environment-friendly fluids. Systems currently using triplex and plunger design pumps can especially benefit from Dynex pumps, which are less than half the size, weight and cost.
