The SG-100M specific gravity meter/liquid density monitor is capable of replacing ordinary glass bulbs and optical refractometer hydrometers. The device has an in-tank and drop-hang submersible probe. The probe can be used when there is need to measure, monitor, record and control specific gravity/liquid density during the mixing, blending, fermentation, distillation, or plating operations. The instrument can easily be customized as per user requirements. An existing PLC or Programmable Logger Controller can be integrated by using this measurement probe. The SG-100M specific gravity meter/liquid density monitor could even come with 4-20mA analog output board. There is also the option of a dual 5 amp relay for process control. It can use Teflon or PVC cabling depending on the measuring sample. It is easy to use as the measuring probe can be submerged up to 500 feet. It works with an electronics module and offers digital readouts of user defined values such as Density, Specific Gravity, Baume, Brix, and alcohol perentage.
