EastRising dot-matrix, COB character LCD modules come in a wide variety of sizes and configurations.The LCD modules are comprised of groups organized in blocks of 5 x 8 pixels. This arrangement offers an alphanumeric display of up to 40 characters per line to a maximum of four lines. Standard configuration available from the common 8x1, 16x1,to the large 40x4 character display are available. An LCD module consists of a liquid crystal display that incorporates all the necessary drive electronics, backlighting (optional), and mounting mechanisms into one convenient subassembly.
