Spiral wire hydraulic hose Eaton Hydraulics

Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that at the end of June 2008, the hydraulic specialists from Eaton Aeroquip will extend their product portfolio with the addition of the GH 200 in sizes - 12 and - 16, a 4-spiral hose for standard applications in the high-pressure area. As a supplier of hydraulic components, Eaton is satisfying the particular requirements of its customers for high-performance yet low-cost DIN hoses for high-pressure applications. The new hose not only meets the requirements of DIN EN 856/4SH, it also significantly exceeds the 400,000 impulse cycles required in the norm at up to 420 bar work pressure.

Until now, the 4SH spiral hose GH506, which easily withstands 2 million flex-impulse cycles, accounted for most of production in the product portfolio of Eaton Aeroquip. It is used primarily in initial equipment. With the new GH200, for the first time customers can purchase a 4SH hose for standard applications with 500,000 impulse cycles. The new hose has been specifically developed for customers who require product that complies with the DIN standards. Product manager Kristin Fiolka explains: 'Compared to our competitors, the new hose programme is a very cost-effective solution for extreme-pressure applications based on standard conditions on the market. This price statement refers both to the hose as well as to the large number of fittings configurations of approx. 60 parts numbers.'
