This is an EC motor with a 3-phase external rotor. The dynamically balanced rotor has a 4-pole, plastic-enclosed ferrite magnet, and the digital 4-Q PI controller gives excellent control. An FET output stage provides high efficiency, and setpoint is selected with an analogue input. Two control inputs allow selection of operating mode (direction of rotation, braking and freewheeling). The motor has overload protection with integrated, speed-dependent current limiter.
With appropriate hardware and software, custom versions of the motor (with fixed speed, direction of rotation, etc.,) can be provided.
