is a new family of computerised Systems for the testing of stators of electric motors. They are the latest products based on E.D.C.'s 40-year experience in stators testing. More that 1000 stator test systems (over 300 in the actual version AST320/W) have been installed worldwide.The new version includes innovative functions in particular the:
* PARTIAL DISCHARGE TEST
* PDIV Test (Partial Discharge Inception Voltage Test). This tests is conforming to the NEW INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION TS 60034-18-41: for electrical rotating machines fed with frequency converters.
EDC is the first European Company to study (since 1998) and propose new tests that allow identification of insulation problems between windings to GND and between turns of the same winding that the standard High Voltage and SURGE tests cannot identify. These problems produce failure of motors after short operating times (hours, days or weeks) in particular when the moelectrictor is driven by Electronic Speed Regulator (Inverter).
