Infrared flammable gas sensor module Edinburgh Instruments IRgaskiT
IRgaskiT is a revolutionary new miniature OEM gas sensor design, which offers customers the opportunity to customise their sensor by combining one of a number of optical sensor 'heads' with modular electronics PCB's.
The unique flexibility of the modular IRgaskiT sensor system allows customers to select the most appropriate gas measuring range for their application and also, to specify the type of output signal and other instrument features. In this way, customers can obtain optimal detection and measurement performance, whilst minimising expenditure.
Currently, IRgaskiT models are available to measure carbon dioxide (CO2) in ranges from 0-2%, to 0-100%, by volume. Also, (Methane (CH4) and Pentane (C5H12) in 0-100% LEL ranges. Sensor heads to measure other hydrocarbons may also be available, upon request.
Signal output options include 0-2V DC linear output, 4-20mA linear output, and digital (RS232) output.
Sensor recalibration can be achieved quickly and simply by using the integral push-button feature.
