The EffikaKS HPF2 series electronically controlled damper is designed to bring fresh air into the home. The HPF2 fresh air damper is conslrucled of stainless steel materials and is connected between the outside of the house and the furnace return air plenum.
The HPF2 operates with a reverse-acting humidistat allowing the damper
to open when there is a rise in humidity. The damper motor energizes and rotates the damper blade into the open position allowing fresh air to be
brought in on the next furnace cycle. After the requirements for fresh air
have been satisfied, the damper closes until the humidistat has another call for fresh air.
