PRESENTATION
The EFS 8427 rack is a power
driving module for injection
systems that use magnetoelectric
technology.
It features different driving
modes and advanced functions
making it adaptable to most of
the injectors available on the
market.
ADVANTAGES
Internal power supply adjustable from 6 to 50 V (compatible with the new automobile
systems powered under 42 V)
Can operate at high voltages of up to 150 V and can generate up to 30 A peak value
Independent unit with internal pulse generator
Features functions compatible with the whole range of 823x Ipods
USE
The injector driving parameters can be modified by means of an RS232 or RS485 (4wire)
link, using the MODBUS protocol:
MODBUS identification on the front panel
Daisy chaining of racks by means of the RS485 link
PC supervision software available on demand.
The injector driving can be started:
by an external input
by an internal pulse generator.
The driving modes are derived from a basic cycle defined by the following
phases:
Boost phase (high voltage capacity discharge) as an option
Pull-in phase (current chopping on thresholds)
Holding phase (current chopping on thresholds)
Discharge phase (Zener voltage).
The system is fully protected against overcurrents, short-circuits and overheating.
