The EFS 8370 module is a
power driver for piezoelectric
injectors.
It features different driving
modes and advanced functions
making it adaptable to most of
the injectors available on the
market.
ADVANTAGES
• Opening and closing voltage can be set independently between -200 V to +200 V
• Maximum current can be set from -20 A to +20 A
• Current slope can be set between 0.1 A/µs to 10 A/µs
• Enough power to deliver 250 injections per second
• Internal pulse generator.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The driving parameters of the injector can be set via an RS232 or RS485 (4 wires link,
using the MODBUS protocol:
•MODBUS identification on the front panel
•Daisy-chaining of racks by means of the RS485 link
•PC supervision software available on demand
The injector driving can be started:
•by an external input
•by an internal pulse generator
Three driving methods are available as standard (see the examples above).
Other modes can be added upon request.
The « injector opening » voltage can be fixed or can changeby linear regression based
upon an analog input, the image of an external physical phenomenon.
The equipment is protected against overcurrents, short-circuits and overheating.

interface enabling the complete
parameter management (currents,
voltages, time) necessary for driving
the injector.
