Description

This high performance pressure sensor is a device that monitors pressure levels in pipes and containers. The high accuracy of its capacitive ceramic gauge head makes it an effective fill level monitor as well. It can record fill levels with an accuracy of one centimeter in containers of 5m. The monitors come with 1,000mbar measurement range and have been demonstrated to be useful for these types of applications. When measuring the fill level of water, 10mbar of pressure corresponds to 10cm water height. The pressure value is displayed digitally. The foam on the liquid's surface does not stop the accuracy of the measurement. The suspended matter inside the container does not alter the measurement as long as the matter does not interrupt pressure distribution in the area surrounding the sensor membrane. The pressure controller comes loaded with all the measurement and evaluation electronics and is exclusively compact for easy use. Pressure sensors EGE pressure sensors feature a flush aluminum ceramic gauge head and are thus suitable for monitoring pressures and fill levels of even polluted and viscous media.
