In order to exclude contamination or plugging of a microreaction setup by particles eventually contained in the reactants fed into the system, input modules with filters are applied. Various disc-shaped filters can be inserted to remove particles from the fluids at low pressure losses and to protect sensitive microstructures or pumps against blockage or damage. The disc filter is accessible from above after removal of the module lid, so that a change of filter can be made even when the module is clamped in a setup. Standard types are modules equipped with 1/16”, 1/8" or 1/4” Swagelok connectors. Modules with other sizes and other types of connectors are available on request.
