Hydraulic cutter head for excavator
Eickhoff Corporation
The hydraulic milling cutters of the ETH series can be mounted to an excavator in lieu of the bucket. The ETH is driven by a hydraulic motor which is powered by the hydraulic system of the excavator. Applications include tunneling, mining, quarries, roadway construction, demolition, forestry, and marine use.
The hydraulic milling cutter is suited for cutting rock, concrete, asphalt, industrial minerals, masonry and other similar materials. Examples of uses in various industries include:
Tunneling and Mining: Heading; profiling; restoration; ripping; and mineral extraction
Civil Engineering: Trench milling (down to 27.5 inches); foundation milling; cellar excavation
Road Construction: Asphalt cutting
Demolition: Well controlled, partial demolition while safeguarding the remainder of the building
Hydraulic Engineering: Lowering of navigable water ways; milling of trenches for pile planking; milling of culverts in river beds
Low noise operation: In all applications where other excavating equipment (i.e. hydraulic hammers) is too noisy
