Principle of operation of EKOTON Chamber Membrane Filter Press
The filter press consists of a pack of filter plates that are suspended on the top or side beams. The working cycle begins with clamping the filter plates. When the filter press is clamped, the inner chambers of the individual plates are connected to form a combined chamber space. When the external pump is switched on, the slurry gradually fills the chambers of the filter press. Under the pressure of the pump, the liquid phase passes through the filter cloth and is removed from the chambers of the filter press through a system of internal channels. The solid phase is retained on the filter cloth, forming a filter cake layer. After filling the chamber with cake, the feeding is stopped.
