e-light series EL100 and EL100X are 4 Port Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Layer 2 Switches. The EL100X offers furthermore an extended temperature range and a redundant power supply.


e-light series EL100S1 and EL100E1 are 8 Port Unmanaged Industrial Layer 2 Ethernet with limited management, fulfils the toughest industrial environmental requirements. High MTBF numbers make the EL100E1 the first choice for applications where temperature, vibration and insulation are critical parameters.

e-light series EL100S3 and EL100E3 are 8 Port Managed Industrial Ethernet Layer 2 Switches for Single Ring Topologies which fulfils the toughest industrial environmental requirements. A special concept allows the ultra fast re-configuration (30ms) of the network topology. This concept also eliminates failures caused by network links and/or switches. Management of the e-light EL100S3 and EL100E3 switches is easy and is done by the user in the Windows based IP configuration tool. The tool is free and any of the Ethernet ports can be used for this purpose. Thus, no serial port is required for setting the configuration parameter on the e-light EL100S3 and EL100E3 switch. Excellent real time properties are offered through both layer 2 and layer 3 priority support with four priority queues and the switch is incorporated with a fault contact in order to indicate any switch failures. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) can be used for collecting and maintaining information about the local environment and network.
