The Bolt Eater is a portable unit designed for the fast removal of large bolts and core sampling. The heavy-duty, roll-around machine packs enough power to make a one-inch diameter hole four-inches deep in twenty minutes with a graphite electrode. This machine often used by power generators and pulp and paper factories for repairing equipment where bolts and studs have fused or rusted in place and must be removed.

Standard features:

* Compact durable head with 305MM (12") uninterrupted quill travel that makes and breaks an arc 120 times per second. It has a push button remote start, auto depth stop and limit switch. Any conductive material can be used as an electrode but molybdenum tubes are recommended

* Heavy, reinforced platform truck with rack for head support and tool chest on four rubber wheels.

* 914MM (36") high column and 406MM (16") cross arm with full 360 degrees of rotation around the column and it's own axis with a manual locking mechanism on magnetic base with 3,000 lbs of holding force.

* Current Indicator for precise current control

* Lighted push buttons plus emergency stop button

* External fuses

* Built-in coolant system, with a 2 GPM, 50 PSI pump plus three-meter (10') power/coolant cable and coolant tank.

* Precision ground and chromed quill assemblies

* Controlled rectified cutting power in eleven heat selections
