The ACS-Series offers digital servo-amplifiers. It can offer maximum brushless servo performance at the lowest cost possible. It is designed using cutting edge DSP based digital drive design architecture. The device provides software selectable torque, velocity, and position mode operation. It uses Sine wave commutation with encoder feedback to provide smooth torque at slow speed. This is useful in robotic, direct drive, and linear motor applications requiring motion control.
The ACS-Series also offers sine wave commutation on motors operating with only hall commutation feedback. This provides smooth performance over the entire speed and torque range. The device is based on Brushless Drive and Digital Servo technology. It comes with 4 quadrants and its nominal current is 3.5A, 5A or 10.6A.
