Safety relay
SIR4, SIR6 Series
ELESTA relays
For those applications in which the coil's energy consumption plays a major role and self-heating should be avoided, the Swiss company Elesta relays GmbH of CH-7310 Bad Ragaz now offers its well-proven safety relays SIR4 and SIR6 with a particularly low drive capacity.
SIR sensitive
In the case of the SIR4 with 4 forcibly guided contacts (2 NO-contacts/ 1 NC-contact or 3 NO-contacts/ 1 NC-contact) the coil's rated consumption is at a mere 0.36 Watt. The SIR6 with 6 forcibly guided contacts (3 NO-contacts/ 3 NC-contacts, 4 NO-contacts/ 2 NC-contacts or 5 NO-contacts/ 1 NC-contact) the coil's rated consumption is only approx. 0.50 Watt.
Like with all products of this manufacturer, the strength of these relays is the safe electrical separation of the switching potentials between coil and contact and between the contact chambers.
The new relays can be used for contact loads of AC-1, 10A 250V. Thanks to the relay coil's big working range it is possible to compensate both coil voltage fluctuations and higher temperature fluctuations. Crown contacts guarantee a high contact reliability when small signal loads are switched. Coil voltages of 5...110VDC are available.
