Beside the rotatory unit, Elliptec is now offering the lineary positioning device Elliptec Module L2K with fully integrated sensor feedback and driving electronics. The movement of the Elliptec Motor X15G working in the modul can be controlled using a USB/UART interface or two additional input pins for adjusting step and direction.

Running on the basic firmware, the Elliptec Module L2K offers a resolution of 0.48 µm and a positioning accuracy of +/- 2.5µm. The customer has the possibility to store up to 40 positions which can be approached directly.
