Recuperative gas burner ECOMAX® 4C

Elster Kromschröder is filling a gap in the series of ECOMAX® ceramic self recuperative burners produced by the LBE business segment. With the new ECOMAX 4C, which has a burner capacity of 180 kW, the company is supplementing its range. To date, the ceramic version of ECOMAX was available with a capacity range of up to 100 kW or as ECOMAX 5C with a capacity of 250 kW. With its SiSiC recuperator, ECOMAX 4C is suitable for directly heated heat treatment processes in which metallic self recuperative burners either cannot be used or can only be used on a restricted basis. Since the self recuperative burner utilizes the heat of the furnace flue gases to preheat the combustion air, as do all members of the ECOMAX series, it significantly lowers the gas consumption. Energy savings of up to 30 percent can be made by using an ECOMAX, depending on burner model and mode of operation. The systems’ efficiency is thus increased considerably.
