4-axis CNC machining centre designed for milling, drilling, thread-cutting and slotting operations at any angle from 0° to 180°, on bars or workpieces made of aluminium, PVC, light alloys in general and steel. The moving part of the machine consists of a “cantilever” structure, provided with precision rack drive. The 10 kW electro-spindle with HSK40F toolholder, allows performing machining operations with excellent results in terms of rapidity and accuracy. The tool magazine with 8 places is accommodated on the longitudinal axis slide. The machining centre is available in the following configurations: Comet-E / M and Comet-E / P which differ for the different workpiece loading mode. With the Comet-E / M (Multi-piece) version, it is possible to position one or more workpieces, also with different lengths and sections, on the clamping vices. The Comet-E / P (Double Dynamic) version has 2 independent zones for loading/unloading in concurrent machine time; one workpiece at a time can be loaded on each zone.
