Within this, the control systems (PLC or other) drive a model which responds in the same way the real system would, with loads moving through the system and creating inputs to the control system.

Connections are made between the accurate model and the control system in a variety of ways; TCP/IP, OPC, Siemens Fetch/Write, MODBUS, native Rockwell, SOAP server, and more, so users work with whichever method is the most appropriate for their requirements.

By creating controlled product flows, testing the control system response is straightforward, and considerably easier and cheaper than doing the real thing on site.
