OPERATION
This dosage unit features a gravimetric feed hopper equipped with a load cell. All weight variations of the material inside the hopper are sensed by the load cell and transmitted, in real time, to the control electronics, enabling accurate A/D conversion of the received signal. This data, duly processed, determine the metering screw speed in order to meet with precision the required set point.
Both hoppers are equipped with an external micro-vibrator, furthermore, the scale hopper is supplied with a mixing paddle specially designed to prevent bridging and clogging in difficult materials metering.
