• Operating temperature range -70°C to +260°C • Universal options for use • Insulation resistant to high voltage • Special implementation with protection class IP 66 Cable sensor with shrinking tube insulation are essentially suitable for temperature measurements of all kinds. They are predominantly used as winding head sensors for thermal motor protection. Depending on the application and temperature requirement, the sensor is insulated singly (SH) or doubly (DSH) with a shrinking tube made from Kynar, Kynar Flex or PTFE. PTFE single wires, Teflon hose lines and Teflon flat hose lines in 2, 3 or 4 wire circuits are available as supply lines. The cable cross section extends from AWG20 to AWG30. Any cable length can be chosen. Waterproof versions with protection class IP 66, high voltage-resistant versions up to 8 kV (special implementations up to 20 kV) are possible.
