Description
The 430 P-I, manufactured by Erichsen, is a scratch hardness tester suitable for mechanical tests of coatings. It comes with a motor-driven cutting table and positioning control. Furthermore, it has a manually actuated loading force adjustment and manually actuated test panel rotation. The unit has a control plates for cuts of 25 mm/40 mm length and a loading force 50 N without test tip. It also conforms to ECCA T6, VDA 621-411, SNV 37111, GME 60280, DIN EN ISO 2409 and ASTM D 3359 standards.
