Using this system, it is possible for the machine operator to access the following Erlenbach services:
- remote maintenance
- diagnostics
- programme updates
Furthermore, the system makes it possible to gain world wide online access to:
- actual conditions
- production processes
The machine operating company can follow, monitor and archive data from its production operation online. Access to this data is possible either in local company-internal intranets, or by using the normal Internet or by using a simple modem connection. The advantages of this system in comparison to a conventional modem point-to-point connection to the individual machines are:
- simplest handling with standard Internet technologies
- fully administrable by the customer (individually-configurable access authorisation)
- machines that are networked at field level only require one access point
- the ability to evaluate / process acquired data
- permanent access to current data
EM-Web Service is a complete system consisting of:
- machine data server EM-Cube
- remote software Mozilla, Internet Explorer or similar as well as individually-matched data browser EM-WS
