The EFS Series plate and frame filter is internally ported, and is the most economical 12-inch square plate and frame filter ErtelAlsop manufactures. The standard model EFS ships cart mounted with our BioClean Filter Plates,and a hand wheel closure with 5 ton hand hydraulic assist. The EFS plate and frame filters are designed to work in a wide range of high efficiency, ultra-fine filtration applications including distilled beverages, small batch cosmetics, cough syrups, small volume parenterals, and flavors & fragrances. As with all ErtelAlsop plate and frame filter presses, the Model EFS has the same component flexibility as other models and is internally ported eliminating the need for gaskets as well as concerns about compatibility and cross-contamination.
