The ESAB G-Tech is a tungsten-electrode grinder with a unique enclosed wet-grinding system. A wet grinding system is the most effective protection from thoriated tungsten grinding dust. All dust is collected in the liquid and the risk of oxidation of the electrode is reduced. The grinding angle can be adjusted and the tip can be grind in a 90 degrees angle to make it less pointed. The small table seen in the picture, is not included and is not available from ESAB.
G-Tech Handy
The G-Tech Handy II is an easy to use tungsten electrode grinder. The grinding angle can be adjusted easily, using just one hand.
The G-Tech Handy grinds electrodes with dimensions of 1.0 to 4.0 mm and it is equipped with a dust filter. The speed (rpm) can be adjusted and the unit weighs just 2.8kg. The G-Tech Handy is delivered in a durable hard case that makes it easy to transport.
G-Tech Handy II
The G-Tech Handy II is a portable enclosed Tungsten Electrode grinder,
which is easy to operate. The Tungsten electrode can be ground without
using a holder or tool. The grinding head can be adjusted in three
different positions: 0, 1 and 2. In each position another part of the
grinding disc will be used, and both sides of the disc can be utilised,
giving extended use and reduced cost.
The G-Tech Handy II features a multifunctional cover, which allows the
electrode to be ground in a 90º angle. The machine is prepared for fixing
to a table using the accessories included.
