The 7 inch wide-screen touch panel of the CPS 500 is a complete solution as it combines controller, visualization, HMI and I/Os within one device. It is CoDeSys programmable entirely and has a compact and complete solution in its analog and digital I/Os. There is a special feature called CANopen master interface that makes connectivity easy to remote modules. This can include in-house servo drives from the esiMot series. Isolated galvanically, the CAN interface can ensure smooth operation. The CPS500 has 10 digital inputs and a 8 0.5 ampere rated digital output. Additional power modules are not going to be needed here. 2 analog inputs with a 12 bit and 2 analog outputs with a 10 bit resolution will complete the on-board facilities. An embedded Web server allows for visualization and maintenance through the means of the internet. There is also a USB-interface that comes with the standard plug installed for programming.
