For the rapid reduction of core samples or lump ore of approximately 50 mm diameter sizing The Essa 450 mm dia. Hammer Mill is designed to reduce approximately 50 mm diameter drill core or lump ore to 100% minus 2 mm with approximately 80% minus 250 micron. It is supplied as standard complete with 7.5 kW direct drive motor, lead, plug, stand and dust hoods. A Blow down air system to reduce cross contamination between samples is also supplied as standard. All wearing parts are readily replaceable. Pneumatic or electromagnetic disc braking is available as an optional extra. This provides for safer operation and allows rapid cleaning between samples if required.
