The Autobatch!" is an automated adaptation of the very successful Labtech Essa model LM2 batch ring mill incorporating a permanently attached, self-discharging bowl which is air blast and vacuum cleaned between batches (with the residue going to the customers dust collection system). The unique Labtech Essa flying saucer puck style of bowl integrated into this machine assures a homogeneous sample is prepared. Bowl discharge and cleaning is controlled by an onboard PLC which also controls the milling cycle. Operator functions are reduced to tipping the feed sample into a feed hopper, pressing a start button and removing a container that receives the milled sample. These 3 only manual operations can be replicated by a robot thereby making the Autobatch!" ideally suited for integration in to a robotic cell.
