HEAD CABLEThe premade Modbus cables by eTactica, are a set of cables designed to make it easier to set up Modbus devices that use Molex connectors.Head cableWe have three main cables: Head, Y and Tail cable. Their purpose differs, Head cable is supposed to connect to the Modbus master. Y cable is supposed to connect between devices on the same DIN Rail, or the DIN Rail directly below or above. Tail cable is for the device connected furthest away from the Modbus master, it has a build in 120 Ω resistance.
