The Iguana Series IRE-321 and IRE-321EC are Industrial 5-port Unmanaged Ethernet Switches with three 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, two multi-mode fiber ports and Redundant ring technology. The self-healing technology can recover from any network downtime in less than 300 ms. Modbus/TCP, Modbus/RTU and OPC are supported by IRE-321 Series. SCADA application can monitor status of Ethernet and fiber port with Modbus or OPC protocol. With the optic port, IRE-321 Series transmits data at high speed for long distances up to 2 km with an SC connector. The flammability protected entry-level industrial hardened Ethernet switch is specifically designed in applications where transmission must be protected from electrical exposure, surges, lightning, chemical corrosion and in hazardous locations. The IRE-321EC comes ready with conformal
coating and extended temperature of -30 to 75 degree C. In addition, the Iguana switches offer Ethernet isolation of 1500 Vrms and frame ground for EMS protection which is not a standard feature in most Industrial Ethernet devices.
