The colour-coded optical fibres are located in a central loose tube filled with a thixotropic gel.
The glass tensile strength elements provide the cable with excellent mechanical strength characteristics. The black halogen-free, flame retardant outer sheath is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
The cable is longitudinally water-tight and meets the following standards:
- flame propagation test:
IEC 60332-1, EN 60332-1
IEC 60332-3-24, EN 50266-2-4
- smoke test (smoke density):
IEC 61034-1/2, EN 61034-1/2
- corrosive gases test:
IEC 60754-2, EN 50267-2-3
