ECM / ECM-P Euro Composites

ECM is a metallic, light-weight honeycomb material mainly applied as
core material in sandwich composite constructions, but also in other
applications as for example shock absorbers, flow directionalizers and
waterjet cutting equipment.
For the production of this core chromated aluminium foil is used in a
thickness of 80ìm and 60ìm. ECM-core exhibits high strength-to-weight
properties as well as excellent thermal and electric conductivity. Aside
from this, ECM is corrosion and heat resistant.
These properties make ECM an ideal construction material in light-weight
construction and an optimal base plate for waterjet cutting.
