The plate is driven by a very compact rack and pinion swinging device, wich is totally contained within the table frame. This enables the optimum utilization of the space surrounding the table
These tables are also fitted with a center swivel joint to supply air line to the fixtures mounted on the plate
When indexing the plate does not lift
In the T.R.278 model, plate position is ensured by a tapered pin.
The plate gets pneumatically locked on the base
