"Panorama.sql" allows the measured values to be collected from the process and to be stored directly into an office style relational database. (RDBMS - Relational DataBase Management System).

Main uses
Panorama.sql is for those applications that require the process data to be archived in a relational database. This then allows the industrial systems to be directly connected to those of the enterprise and gives the ability of the process data to be accessed directly by applications such as preventitive maintenance, MES, BATCH, DNC and ERP. The relational database can be any standard RDBMS available on the market such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. It is used in cases where product tracibility, production planning and organisation are required.

Solution
Panorama.sql runs on a manufacturer of data acquisition server or on a client professional workstation dedicated to providing the SQL interface to your chosen RDBMS. It inserts the events and alarms complete with their acquired time-stamped data (accurate to 1 ms). The data values can be added simultaneously to one or more of the RDBMS's tables.
