The DuraCOR family of Rugged Mobile Computers is a purpose-built mobile computer platform that targets demanding vehicle installations such a rail and rolling stock, buses, ships etc.

Due to their highly integrated design these systems are very compact and will withstand mechanical and temperature stress commonly esperienced in harsh environmental conditions.

The DuraCOR rugged mobile computers are modular in their internal architecture and construction. A high integration system carrier board accepts two PC/104+ stacks; typically one is dedicated to the selected CPU. The other stack provides expansion for various peripheral boards.
Depending on the complexity of the system, three standard enclosure form-factors are available, LL being the smallest with two boards expansion, LH and LL can support up to four expansion boards. A shock-resistant HARD DISK (50 GB max) with extended temperature range can be added to any configuration.
