eWON
The router offers a WAN Ethernet port which allows a smooth connection to the Internet through the local IT network (site or factory LAN) and its firewalls. In combination with eWON's Talk2M Free or Talk2M Pro services, duly authorized users can then access any of their machines, devices and installations equipped with 2005CD devices over a quality broadband and secure connection over LAN or mobile Internet. The combination of eWON devices and Talk2M service provide a unique solution for effective remote access and bypassing the complexity that may exist within site specific IT network infrastructures.
The eWON 2005CD allows maintenance of Allen Bradley and other PLCs as if you were literally standing next to the machine: using programming and setup tools, transparent communication connectivity with most serial or Ethernet PLCs and protocols (Modbus RTU-TCP, DF1-UnitelWay, Fins Hostlink-Fins TCP, MPI/PPI/Profibus-Isotcp). The web connectivity service is secured by VPN tunnel and provides reliable and secure communication at reduced costs which is typically used by OEM's and end users to enable remote diagnosis and remote support. An optional embedded modem provides secondary or back up remote access to the "Machine" LAN, offering a powerful dual LAN/Modem connectivity.
