Molded and pultruded gratings

Flooring, walkways and decking areas in corrosive environments need to offer superior load bearings as well as corrosion resistance. The use of good quality grade resins, including UV inhibitors and other additives together with sufficient glass fibre reinforcement result in a product which offers chemical and corrosion resistant while withstanding the required force/load.

Molded Gratings

Exel moulded grating is manufactured with continous filament strands wetted thouroughly with premium grade polyester resin. Such inherant characteristics ensure excellent corrosion resistance over a wide PH range, both acidic and caustic.

Pultruded Gratings

- Can be used where mechanical load is very high or support distances are very wide
- Panels are fabricated to drawings with minimum wastage
- Performs structurally better than moulded grating with a maximum deflection to be limited to SPAN/200 (the same limit as for steel grating)
- I-bar and T-bar type
- 25 mm, 38 mm and 51 mm
- Open mesh, solid top or micromesh
- Gritted or meniscus surface finish
