with double lip out of PTFE and of a metal spring of compression to high
impact strength.
The double lip exerts a pressure important on your surface to be sealed
and a better sealing ensures thus than the traditional joints simple
lip. A certain volume of the fluid is imprisoned between the two
surfaces of contact of the dynamic lip, which makes it possible to decrease
wear and to increase the longevity of the joint.
The PTFE body is actuated by a stainless steel spring which
maintains a constraint sufficient to ensure the sealing when
the pressure of the circuit is low.
This device compensates for the relatively low impact strength of the element in
PTFE subjected to a fair wear and tear in the dynamic applications.
