Description

The contact-type inline thickness measurement GreCon THICKNESSCONTROL RT measures the thickness of panel materials as e.g. MDF, OSB or chipboards and other materials as leather, caoutchouc, plastics or insulating paper. The latest technology enables measurements even with very short product cycle times. Benefits at a glance Increase of the material efficiency by reduction of the grinding allowance = reduction of the production costs Automatic calibration in smallest panel gaps to compensate the influences from the environment Continuous quality control of the produced material Feedback of the measured value to adjust the press control Connection of panels and mass per unit area scale possible to determine the raw density Design of the system The measuring tracks of the inline thickness measurement THICKNESSCONTROL RT are mounted to a stable measuring frame. The measuring tracks are distributed transversally to the production sense and can be shifted by simply loosening the screws manually. The installation of the measuring frame is usually possible without extensive reconstruction efforts of the roller conveyor or the conveying unit. The control console is mounted directly onto the measuring frame and can also be installed in a distance to the system, if necessary.
