Description

Fairbanks X Series Process Control Transmitters are a reliable and low-cost solution for weighing process scales with analog load cells. With available interfaces including 4-20mA, RS485, DeviceNet or Profibus-DP, there is a Fairbanks Process Control Transmitter for your application. RELIABLE, LOW-COST PROCESS WEIGHING SOLUTION X Series Transmitters are ideal in a wide variety of process weighing applications and were specifically designed for customers running weight-based batching, blending or mixing systems through a PLC or PC network. These devices can transmit weight data via analog (4-20 ma) or common PLC network communications, including Profibus-DP, DeviceNet and RS-422/485. The transmitter units are compact and designed to simply snap on to DIN rails typically used in control panels. X Series Transmitters provide values based on gross or net weight and in the following measures: oz, lb, t, mg, g, and kg. When used in conjunction with Fairbanks’ Omnicell® weighing assemblies or other manufacturers’ assemblies, the X Series Transmitters are a competitively priced alternative to full function indicators popularly used in process control applications. THREE MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM X Series Transmitters are available with the following TCP/IP connections for remote control: • High-performance Ethernet output. • High-performance Ethernet output with 12 Mbit Profibus-DP. • High-performance Ethernet output with DeviceNet. SPECIAL FEATURES • Ethernet TCP/IP interface with integrated Modbus TCP protocol allows for easy integration into existing PC networks. • High accurate signal conversion with internal resolution of 4.8 million counts.
