The d.c. thermoelectric cooling units are an
effective solution for the conditioning
of small enclosures or electronic
equipments.
These units are heat pumps where
electricity transfers heat without using
hazardous gases or liquids.
Compared to the traditional systems,
thermoelectric units have any moving part
(except the fans).
The core system consists in one or more
thermoelectric modules (Peltier modules)
that allow from one side an heat absorption
(cold side), and from the opposite side
an heat release to the ambient (warm side).
