When a FANUC Professional robot is fi tted with the FANUC „Force transducer”, it enables the robot to perform High Precision assembly operations such as meshing of gears and close tolerance insertion of parts.
The Force Sensor can also be utilised when the robot is used to perform precision grinding and polishing applications.
FORCE GUIDED INSERTION
Force Control allows the insertion of shafts and pins into matching holes using the force sensor.
FORCE GUIDED PHASE MATCHING
The Force Control enables the assembly of gears and other mechanical components via phase matching.
FORCE CONTOURING
This function controls the force so that the robot constantly pushes the surface along the taught trajectories.
