Horizontal Axis Propeller Pump. Axial flow suction and radial flow discharge (perpendicular to pump shaft). Operating range as per covering chart below.
Pump casing can be either of welded construction or cast. Casing flanges are ISO PN10 as a standard (alternatively ANSI, BS, DIN).
Wear rings for the protection of pump casing and diffusers.
Overhung propeller.
Materials for casing and propeller : Cast irons, ferritic ductile cast iron (spheroidal graphite), austenetic ductile cast iron , carbon steels, special purpose steels, stainless steels, bronze, aluminium bronze, copper nickel alloys, Hastelloy, Uranus...
Shaft line is over-sized and comes in steel, special purpose steels, stainless steels, cupro aluminium... Shaft line is borne by one bearing.
Shaft sealing by gland packing or mechanical seal as an option.
