SMACS is a system developed by Fastcom Technology which provides an intelligent and proactive solution to today's challenges in access control and anti-tailgating. SMACS uses the latest generation of high technology contact-free sensors (3D cameras, laser scanners, thermal cameras) to protect access to your infrastructure.

SMACS Flex is an anti-tailgating solution that can transform any entry point into a secure airlock with 2 to 4 doors. It offers higher user comfort (airlock area up to 24m2) than conventional restrictive portals, and allows for combined person and material access thus saving the cost of a separate goods entrance. With its exclusive BioVisual technology the anti-tailgating analysis is tailored to each individual, ensuring an optimal level of comfort/security for all users, regardless of their physical size.

Typical SMACS Flex configuration:

SMACS Flex transforms any room or lobby into an airlock with 2, 3 or 4 doors. The position and orientation of the doors can be freely defined. The airlock can be any shape (square, corridor, L-shaped, ...) and size up to 24m2. SMACS Flex is appropriate for any high-security application, such as banking, airports, data centres, etc. The anti-tailgating analysis can be uni-directional (one in, many out) or bi-directional (one in, one out).
