TERRAJET - The power to clear the largest surfaces

For safe take-offs and landings runways, taxiways and aprons must be free from dirt, sand, blowing leaves and large puddles or snow.

In this respect the TERRAJET offers safety through cleanliness year in, year out. At the heart of the TERRAJET is its high efficiency exhauster fan driven by a powerful 6-cylinder,170 kW engine.

The TERRAJET takes its extraordinarily high sweeping efficiency from the innovative FAUN circulating air system. Entrained dirt particles are bound by fine water particles and then deposited in the container by centrifugal force. Most of the air stream, which is practically dust free, is supplied as blast air back to the sweeping components mounted at the rear of the TERRAJET and the recirculating air cycle recommences. With this system FAUN offers a low-maintenance and environmentally friendly system that does not need special filters, so making the related time and cost of servicing redundant.
