Runways must be kept clear in order to guarantee safe take-offs and landing. They must be kept free of dirt, sand, windblown leaves and large puddles as well as snow. With a sweeping speed of up to 40 km/h, the TERRAJET is also ideally suited for clearing both motorways and highways. Available with the optionally lateral brushes the FAUN TERRAJET can provide a sweeping width of 3.40 metres.
The proven FAUN concept combines optimal operational safety with compelling simplicity. The heart of the TERRAJET is its high-performance blower, driven by a powerful six-cylinder 130 to 170 kW engine (175 to 228 hp). The very high sweeping performance of the TERRAJET is achieved through the innovative FAUN air circulation system. The inducted dirt particles are bound by water vapour and extracted centrifugally within the vehicle. A large proportion of the practically dust-free air current is then fed back in at the rear of the sweeper as blowing air and the circulation process begins anew. The FAUN TERRAJET provides its customers with environmentally friendly, low-maintenance technology that operates without the need for special exhaust filters, thereby eliminating the service costs otherwise involved.
