The deva.tex® series from Federal-Mogul Deva GmbH is a self-lubricating plastic plain bearing with a glass fiber reinforced carrying layer. The sliding layer has fibers which are embedded in epoxy resin. The resin carries PTFE as lubricant for excellent tribological performance. The series is available up to 1.000 mm. It has a high resistance against corrosion, wear, contamination, as well as to vibrations and shock loads. Special dimensions can be provided upon request. Furthermore, it is widely used in water turbines, hydromechanical engineering equipment, agricultural machines, railroad applications, etc.
